I don't really like pictures of myself so this one should be fine...taken on my trip in Madrid long time ago! 

My name is Katy and I was born in Hamburg City up north in Germany. My parents are both from Chile so my New York friends started calling me "Chilemana" Whoever speaks spanish will understand why :) I lived a while in Singapore and currently I live in Paris. Singapore is probably the cleanest and safest city I ever lived in. I lived almost for 4 years in London and fell in Love with that city and I'm pretty sure I will return one day, to visit though. I also lived in New York City for a year and it was absolutely incredible! There are so many things to say about this city that I wrote a blogpost about it! 

So why did I start this? Few years ago I already started my own blog on a different website but lost interest in it while living in New York City. Even though I had tons of ideas for my blog and lots of good feedback from my friends, but not enough time to invest in it. During my time in Singapore,  I realized that I still like to share my travel and food experiences. Back then people enjoyed reading my blog entries and I thought this time "Why not continue?" 

Please note, I am not a native english speaker! So of course I am gonna make mistakes on how to express myself...but you know what? It's fine! A reason why people enjoyed reading my blog is because I write as I speak and I love to tell stories! So I'll keep it that way.

I mainly want to share my travel and foodie experiences but some other stuff will show up too. But my number one passion for sure is traveling. I love THAT feeling at the airport when I know now I am going somewhere else again! It makes me addictive for more! Which explaines my slogan on top of my website --> scoll up! 

The foodie part comes from working in the restaurant industry since years. I travel as much as possible but of course I am not rich neither am I going to the bathroom and come out with money! So yes, I do work and this website is NOT to show me as a professional foodie-travel-lifestyle-whatever else-blogger, influencer etc- person. It is just me, who likes to share my passion for different things and to tell you
